This Hot Wheels Ferrari Elite 250 GT Berlinetta SWB 1:43 Scaled Diecast Vehicle is one of a variety of collectible vehicles approved by Ferrari for authentic styling and decoration.
Beautifully crafted and highly detailed, this car makes a great collectible or gift for any auto enthusiast. One of the most important GT racers of its time, the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB was first unveiled at the 1959 Paris Salon. The designation SWB indicated the short wheelbase chassis designed for better handling compared to the former long wheelbase version. The car was available in competition specification with an aluminum body, lightweight interior trim and with the engine in a higher state of tune.
The Elite Hot Wheels are 1:18, 1:43 and 1:50 highly detailed diecast; the majority of them are based on Ferraris. They are more expensive than the Mattel models, which aren’t as highly detailed and cheaper, as the Elite versions are licensed by Ferrari, so for Hot Wheels Mattel models, they have to add cheap parts, like plastic to make them cheaper. The Hot Wheels Elite series have a “mini” series, which can be seen on the website.
